So, you’re ready to join us? Great news! We’d love to have you onboard. Learn more about each membership type, get a rundown on each of their benefits and explore how to apply below.

Full Member

Full Members have to be operating under the co-operative principles which means applications need to be approved before you can begin utilising membership services.

A pre-application form provides us with the initial information required for approval. Once approved, you will then be able to complete a full application form, which will set your organisation up with everything you need to start taking advantage of our services.

Provisional member

Provisional membership allows you to participate in events and training and member rates, access all educational resources and tap into our network of specialist support. 

You can purchase Provisional Membership by simply filling in an application form and completing the online purchase. You will then be sent a Welcome Pack to help get you started and ready to utilise your new membership.

Corporate associate member

In order to maintain a standard of services, our Corporate Associate Members are made up of a select group of businesses. If you believe you have a service that would be beneficial for our members, please submit a pre-application form. Alternatively, reach out to us on info@nz.coop to discuss. 

If we mutually identify that there is an opportunity to work together, you will then be invited to complete a full application form.

Membership Fees

Our membership subscription fees enable us to deliver on our range of services throughout the year. The fee structure for full members is based off gross turnover per annum, and the other membership types are based on a flat rate. We regularly review these fees to ensure our members are getting the best value for money each year. 

Remember, all your employees and your members/shareholders can take advantage of our services. So, be sure to let those involved in your organisation know about your membership with us so they can get take full advantage of the benefits on offer.

When do I get billed for my membership?

The membership year runs from 1 June – 31 May. Current members are billed just before the new membership year.

If you join throughout the membership year, you will be charged a pro-rated rate.
