Frequently Asked questions
What happens if I need to cancel my event or training registration?
All cancellations need to be advised in writing to info@nz.coop. A refund is only available dependent on the time in advance that you advise us of your cancellation.
Please review the full cancellation and refund policy on our Terms and Conditions page here.
I have specific dietary requirements. Can I still be catered for at an event or training?
We will request all dietaries to be advised by a particular date in advance of the event (we will let you know this per event). We will work with the relevant caterers to ensure your requirements are looked after.
Please note that occasionally not all requirements can be catered for in full, but we will do our best!
How do I start a co-operative?
You’ve come to the right place. The first step is to review our Support for Start-Ups page. This will give you a broad overview of how we can assist.
Can I access a recording of the online event I attended after the event?
In most cases, we will provide all registered attendees with a unique link to re-watch the recording of the event. Dependent on the event and content itself, please do not distribute this further than yourself. If you would like wider access to the event, we often also provide the recordings as a downloadable resource for a small fee.
Please note that this does not necessarily apply to all online events.
Do I need to be a co-operative to become a member?
No. If you are wanting to establish a co-operative but are not yet at that stage in business, you can join as a Provisional Member. Individual advocates for the co-operative sector can also join.
To become a full member, however, you need to be registered under the relevant legislation and operating in a co-operative manner.
