Alongside re-elected member director (and Chair) Mike Brown, Garry was recently announced as part of the Board for 2023-2024. We are thrilled to have him join, as he comes with a wealth of experience and understanding of the co-operative and mutual sector.
“The board of CBNZ are excited to be welcoming Christchurch-based Ravensdown CEO Garry Diack onto the board following our recent AGM. Garry brings many years of top level business experience and organisational expertise with him. Garry’s appointment also maintains South Island representation on the board, as he replaces long-standing director Ashburton’s Andy Grant,” says Mike Brown, Chair.
Garry joined Ravensdown Limited as the CEO in July 2021.
He is an executive with 35 years’ experience in leadership, corporate strategy, business transformation, mergers and integration, and corporate governance. This experience has been gained in a variety of industries across Australasia including agriculture, technology, mining, media, and financial services.
Garry has been the CEO of Ravensdown for two years following seven years as the CEO of Tait Communications, New Zealand’s leading radio communications exporter with installations in over 90 countries across the globe. Prior to this Garry was the Interim CEO of Solid Energy Ltd.
