EastPack is New Zealand’s largest kiwifruit post-harvest provider, with six packing sites in the Bay of Plenty.

A 100% grower-owned cooperative, EastPack employs over 3,500 staff during the main packing season and has capacity to pack over 25% of New Zealand’s total kiwifruit volume.

The cooperative has invested significant capital in new equipment to improve productivity, and made major inroads into sustainability improvements. EastPack is certified as a Toitū Carbon Reduce organisation.

Cooperative Business NZ is hosting a small group of members to see behind the scenes of this innovative cooperative during peak packing season. We are taking expressions of interest for the 2026 tour, which will take place on 27th April 2026.
