With the recent elections and the coalition government having been sworn into power, Cooperative Business NZ took the opportunity to brief the incoming Government on the importance of our business community.

We are arranging meetings with the relevant cabinet Ministers to discuss the briefing paper and the recommendations in early 2024. We appreciate that the paper will not cover all of our members’ needs and will continue to advocate on your behalf for specific initiatives. In addition, we want to work with our members on specific policy positions based on the new government’s programme of work (noting potential gaps) to enable collaboration with the incoming government to ensure the continuing success of our business community.
